At the beginning of dead week, I made a decision to ban myself from Facebook - the motherload of all college procrastination.
I had my roommate change my password... and since then, I've only gone on once to post up my old chemistry book for sale. I have to say... I never realized how addicted I was to the social devise.
On average... I think I at least spend an our to two ours on Facebook daily... and it really adds up. It didn't solve my problem... as you can see, I am on Xanga writing my 10 minutes blogs during study breaks.
I miss all the fun things I'd do on Facebook.
a. I'd upload drawings and pictures of miscellaneous objects and tag them as my friends.
b. I'd browse through the bumper sticker collection trying to find something fun to send to a friend.
c. I'd be Facebook stalking people.
You know you do it! Don't lie. I mean there has to be someone you were like... is he/she single? What has so and so been up to lately? Hm... OMG! They broke up? NO WAY! It gives me a dose of that high school drama that I miss so much... and some of you miss it too...
Aside from that, you can always browse through people's pictures and be like.... mmm mmm mmm, you have been up to NO good. Shame!
d. I Facebook chat, I wall post...
BTW. There's something I'd like to note about Facebook chat, but it will have to wait for another time, because I can only type so much in 10 minutes.
e. I like feeling involved in peoples lives! It gives you a chance to feel... a little bit special... (and in some cases a little bit less special that that other person who has a 1000 friends. "WTF?!! 1027?!")
Well... I'm out of time...
My point is... with the World Wide Web so easily accessible, it's truly impossible to think that changing one password would do me in. I must learn a new form of self control...
OH NO... FINALS?!!! FML!

So... does this mean that you're posting on Xanga just because you don't have Facebook? ...And if that's so, does that also mean that you're finding other ways to procrastinate? I rationalize it this way:
1. I do much of my best work at the last minute.
2. I want to do my best work.
3. I need to procrastinate so I can do my best work.
(how can I get anything done when I argue it so well?!?!)
@Legendairy - lol.
I tend to do that too, but I always get sick right after.
darn'd stress! getting me sick!
@boredjm - Any time I even start to get sick, I try to take a day to just sleep until I wake up on my own and make sure to get plenty of food and fluids. Seriously, it helps to fight off just about anything. Hope you do well.
@Legendairy - lol! i do that... it's just that... after i sleep that one day, i have to stay up the next to catch up on everything i missed by sleeping all day the day before.
i took all of last week getting better, and then this week, i havent been sleeping at all... getting sick again.
it really really... really sucks.
